The objective of this Special Interest Group (SIG) is to unite scholars, practitioners, students, and policymakers with a keen interest in Gerontological Social Work (GSW) from both Europe and beyond.
Key activities:
Establishing robust structures for the dissemination of research in gerontological social work through various mediums such as publications and podcasts.
Advocating for increased visibility of age-related aspects and the aging process within the realm of social work research.
Facilitating the exchange of experiences of how gerontological social work unfolds in diverse international contexts.
