Issues associated with practice education and student supervision in social work. Practice education is considered by many to be the cornerstone of social work education and is a significant component in a student's educational pathway.
This SIG will bring together a network of social work professionals across Europe who can address the complex issues associated with practice education and student supervision. Practice education is considered by many to be the cornerstone of social work education and comprises a significant component in a student's educational pathway.
The aim of the SIG is to build on the expertise that exists within the EWSRA social work community, with a view to identifying best practices in practice education. Another aim of the SIG is to forefront the importance of supervision for students on placement and to develop a best practice guideline, as well as identifying aspects for further development.
